David Archuleta is so amazing! His voice is just so natural!
I was surprised because I have been watching his videos on
You Tube before he was famous! Then I saw that he auditioned for
American Idol, and I just fell more in love with him then ever!
He has been through so much, like having partial vocal paralysis, which he feels he has full recovered from. He's awesome!

| Early Life | David Archuleta was born in Miami, Florida on 12/28/1990. His parents names are James Jeffery Archuleta, and Lupe Marie Archuleta. He has 3 younger siblings named Amber, Daniel, and Jazzy, and his older sister named Claudia(which he was closest with). He moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, but now currently loves in Murray, Utah where he attends school at Murray High School. He suffered partial vocal paralysis, but he had risky surgery which he feels he has fully recovered from. His first real job was in the summer of 2007 as a sound "techie" at the amphitheater. |

| American Idol | David auditioned in San Diego and won his ticket to Hollywood singing John Mayer's, "Waiting on the World to Change." He has decided to play the piano on some of his songs,(since now you can play instruments!) He has never been in the bottom votes! But since he is still a "minor" his parents have him on independent study! |
