What is an Arch Angel? David Archuleta fans around the world have begun calling themselves "Archies" or "Arch Angels". David has a huge cult-like following encompassing all genders and age ranges. Garnering more popularity from American Idol, David's fan base continues to grow. It is clear that he is currently anIdol front-runner and his large number of fans helps to keep him in the competition. His fans are intense, screaming, shaking, and somewhat reminiscent of The Beatles fans.
Teenage voters are suspected to be the largest group of American Idol voters, and David's large fan-base may very likely push him all the way through the contest. Let's hope that no other voting demographic will match the power of David's large teenage girl fan-base and the Arch Angels
